Quick Troubleshooting
I can't log in to my account
Try these steps:
- Clear your browser cookies and cache
- Try a different browser or incognito mode
- Check if your password is correct (use password reset if needed)
- Verify your email is correct
My calculations don't match my accountant's numbers
RateCheck provides estimates based on the data you enter. It doesn't account for:
- Complex tax situations or deductions
- VAT registration status
- Business structure (sole trader vs limited company)
- Pension contributions and other adjustments
Can I export my data?
Yes! You can export your quotes and calculations from your account dashboard. We provide:
- CSV export for spreadsheet analysis
- PDF reports for client presentation
- JSON export for technical users
Is my business data secure?
Yes. We take security seriously:
- All data encrypted with AES-256 (bank-level encryption)
- HTTPS/TLS for all connections
- Database hosted on secure AWS infrastructure via Supabase
- Row-level security ensures your data is isolated from other users
- Regular security updates and monitoring
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Export your data first if you need it
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- All your data will be deleted within 30 days
What browsers are supported?
RateCheck works best on modern browsers:
- Chrome/Edge (version 90+)
- Firefox (version 88+)
- Safari (version 14+)
- Mobile browsers (iOS Safari, Chrome for Android)
